Our Story

Granovsky & Sundaresh is an employment law firm (Cleveland and New York City) started by husband and wife team, Alex Granovsky and Neeti Sundaresh. Alex and Neeti previously worked for many years at some of the largest international law firms in the world. After nearly a decade of enjoying work but also observing unethical billing practices, unscrupulous clients, dishonesty, and bullying that seemed embedded in the corporate law world, they had a vision of doing things differently.

Alex immigrated to the United States with his family from the former Soviet Union in 1980.  He saw the value of hard work and fighting for what you want firsthand as his family navigated their way as foreigners in the United States, eventually settling in the suburbs of New York City.  Neeti is the daughter of immigrant parents from India who came to this country with a single suitcase and built lucrative careers in Cleveland, Ohio. Alex and Neeti understand what it means to be treated differently because of who you are or where you come from. They know what it is like to be an underdog and to be up against seemingly insurmountable odds. And they know how to use the skills and values learned from their families and life experiences to persevere and come out on top.

Alex and Neeti formed Granovsky & Sundaresh with the hope and vision to do things differently and better as a law firm. Granovsky & Sundaresh is built on a foundation of honesty, creative problem solving, collaborative work, transparency, and good old-fashioned hard work.

Granovsky & Sundaresh uses these foundational values in not only how it resolves clients’ legal issues but how it structures its law firm. Every Granovsky & Sundaresh attorney enjoys a flexible work schedule and has been able to work from home for years. This is because the firm is only interested in doing great work for its clients – not in needless showiness that wastes resources.  By following substance over form practices, the firm is able to both accommodate the needs of its attorneys while minimizing overhead to ultimately reduce the cost to clients. The firm offers honest, transparent billing practices, prioritizes communication with its clients, and puts in billable hours only when they are actually needed.
